València Inspira Diseño 2026 united four leading design events under one banner, signaling a transformation in how modern living environments are developed. Running from September 28 to October 1, the exhibition spanned 110,000 square meters across ten halls at Feria Valencia, blending furniture, textiles, kitchenware, ceramics, and experimental materials into a cohesive experience.

The event merged Feria Hábitat València, Textilhogar, Espacio Cocina SICI, and 360 by Cevisama, the latter a new focus on bathrooms and surface materials. This was the first iteration where all four platforms operated as a single entity, illustrating how design fields increasingly intersect. Furniture design now engages directly with architectural frameworks, while textiles and ceramics function as integral structural components rather than standalone elements.

Feria Hábitat València led with 90,000 square meters dedicated to furniture, lighting, and commercial interiors. Textilhogar emphasized home textiles and upholstery solutions, while Espacio Cocina SICI concentrated on kitchen advancements. 360 by Cevisama extended its reach into bathroom design and material applications. Compared to 2024, the event expanded exhibition space by 17% and saw a 32% increase in participating brands, with more than 3,000 national and international buyers invited through a network of trade missions and industry organisations.

Key installations included Hotel Hábitat 2026, a project by Mexican architect Joaquín Homs that explored contemporary hospitality through a series of rooms developed with participating studios and brands. Matter invited visitors to engage directly with material innovation, while Textile Trends Space 2027 examined the emerging directions shaping home textiles. The returning Salón nude platform showcased emerging designers and educational institutions, while an exhibition dedicated to Spain’s National Innovation and Design Awards traced the influence of design and innovation on the country’s creative environment.

A cohesive design vision by Odosdesign unified the event’s various sections, emphasizing collective creativity. Conference programs like Ágora nude, Foro Hotel Hábitat, and AMC Kitchen Lab brought together conversations around sustainability, wellbeing, hospitality, technology, craftsmanship, artificial intelligence, and the future of professional practice. The kitchen, in particular, emerged as a reflection of how domestic spaces are evolving, positioning it as an increasingly central component of contemporary living.
